With the help of Partnership Liaisons in Uganda, a network of orphanages throughout the country could be literally documented. Each PL could be in charge of a certain district and he/she could create relationships with Pastors and caretakers of orphanages located within that area. Uganda is divided into 80 districts across four administrative regions. Most districts are named after their main commercial and administrative towns.
Imagine if we could create a list and be able to serve the children’s needs in all those orphanages. With having partnerships built up throughout Uganda, we could easily distribute much needed supplies and mosquito nets to locations that have the greatest needs.
This endeavor is possible. We currently have one Partnership Liaison in Uganda serving the gaba territory and collecting orphanage information for documentation. PCwS of Uganda currently pays the PL approximately 50,000 ($28 US) per month for his part-time duties.
If we had a few dozen more PLs in Uganda, imagine how many needs could be documented!
